SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST

You will serve as SUPV MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST/Director of Management and Personnel Management Advisor/Senior Civilian of COMMANDER US NAVAL FORCES EUROPE, Italy. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Interpreting and developing command policies and programs for recommendations;
2) Developing new concepts and innovative solutions for controversial programs;
3) Administering laws, policies, and regulations to evaluate program effectiveness; and/or
4) Promoting sound business management practices to ensure legislative policy/procedures are adhered. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems. Work Environment: Work is performed in an office environment. Some travel is required. Supervision and oversight require significant and extensive coordination and integration of a number of important and complex programs of technical, managerial, or administrative work and require the employee to identify and integrate significant internal and external program and policy issues affecting the command. Program activities managed directly impact immediate and long range goals, objectives, plans and schedules. Responsible for management and direction of all programs and personnel. Directs plans, procedures and regulatory controls relating to the management of all assets of the headquarters. Assesses policies, develops and directs changes as needed for all organization programs. Participates in various planning and operational committees and boards. Develops and executes comprehensive programs to improve productivity, cost effectiveness, and efficiency. The incumbent directs subordinate supervisors and/or contractors who each direct substantial workloads of subordinate staff comparable to the GS-12 or higher.
