About Italian Tech Week:

Italian Tech Week is a premier event that brings together tech professionals, industry leaders, and innovative startups from across the globe. Hosted in the vibrant city of Turin, this event features a series of talks, masterclasses, and exhibitions aimed at fostering innovation and discussing the future of technology in a collaborative environment.

Role Overview:

As a volunteer at Italian Tech Week, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the smooth execution of one of Europe’s most exciting tech events. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about technology, looking to meet like-minded people, and eager to gain event management experience. The event spans three days, and we will divide each day into morning and afternoon shifts. Volunteers can choose the shifts that best fit their schedules, but a minimum commitment of three shifts is required to be considered an official volunteer. Based on your skills and interests, we may assign different roles to maximize your impact and enhance your experience at the event.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attendees with information and guidance to ensure they have a positive experience.
• Support event coordinators with the execution of masterclasses and keynote sessions.
• Manage registration desks and check-in processes to streamline attendee entry.
• Help with real-time problem-solving during the event and ensure all aspects run smoothly.
• Support media teams during interviews with speakers.
  

Requirements:

• No previous experience is needed for this role; we welcome fresh perspectives and enthusiasm.
• Good proficiency in English to effectively communicate with our diverse attendees and team members.
• A strong passion for startups, technology, and innovation, eager to contribute to the dynamic atmosphere of the event.
• A proactive attitude and a desire to help create a memorable and successful event for all participants.
