Baker Hughes is seeking a
Our team performs all turning and grinding activities, on every rotor produced in our Florence workshop including Gas turbines, centrifugal compressors and Steam turbines.
Partner with the best
Developing manufacturing technology, new products and systems Set up, monitor and operates various pieces of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements. May included operation of multiple machines at one time. Could also include repair. May perform quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements.
As a Workshop Operator, you will be responsible for:
Carrying on machining activities
Being a HSE promoter
Helping other colleagues in lifting activities
Performing program testing
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Be a good team player and a proactive self-starter that is accountable and exhibits ownership
Demonstrate substantial experience in turning or grinding activities
Able to demonstrate ability in measuring items
Be a promoter of continuous improvement
Be able to be flexible with working patterns and shift rotations, including nights
