Supporting the Editorial LfL (backlist) team with our projects on topics from the fields of art, architecture, design, film, photography, and pop culture.
Assisting in project management for multilingual book publications from budget and schedule preparation to printing.
Revision of titles for new editions.
Supporting the team with the coordination of reprints of our extensive backlist catalogue.
Clarification of image, text, and artist rights and procurement of image material.
Internal coordination with the graphics and production departments.
Close collaboration and communication with international authors, translators, freelancers, designers, museums, and picture agencies.

Strong Interest in and knowledge in editorial tasks, as well as art, art history, photography, architecture, design, pop culture, travel, and fashion – the foundations of our publishing program.
Currently enrolled or recently graduated (MA) in Book Studies, Languages or Humanities
Confident with Microsoft Office, databases, Adobe Acrobat, and InDesign.
Organizational talent with an eye for detail and strong sense of precision.
Enjoy working with language and perfect knowledge of spelling and grammar.
Proficiency in written and spoken German and English, any other language is a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
Independent, structured and team-oriented way of working and strong interpersonal skills.
Open-mindedness and a passion for the range of our program.

12 months full-time position (37.5 hours per week), flexible start date in summer 2025.
