Strategy and Business Development Internship

Position

During this 6-month internship, you will support the Strategy & Business Development Department within the Textile Division in all the activities related to the function.

You will be involved in an array of activities in close collaboration with your tutor, including:

• Conduct market analysis to assess competitive landscape, supplier network, and emerging trends;
• Analyze Textile Division’s business and production performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement;
• Assist in the coordination of the Textile Division’s Commercial and Industrial Operations teams, acting as a liaison while working on their activities and needs;
• Support both the development of project plans, defining objectives, timelines, and key deliverables as well as their steering through project management activities to ensure they meet timelines and objectives;
• Collaborate to prepare presentations for leadership meetings, including compiling data, creating visualizations, and crafting compelling narratives;
• Contribute to the preparation of the yearly strategic plan and budget for the Textile Division, including conducting market research, analyzing financial data, and providing insights;

Remain updated on industry news, trends, and competitor activities by monitoring press releases, news articles, and industry publications and summarizing the key learnings.

Profile

• Master’s degree in Industrial/Management Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or similar;
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights;
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written;
• Keen interest in industrial environment and operations, with a desire to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing processes and optimization;
• Previous experience or coursework in strategy, business development, or operations management is a plus.
