Accounting Intern

Galileo is a fast-growing renewable energy IPP, investor and operator, currently in the very dynamic start-up phase. Since our foundation in 2020, we have secured a pipeline of over 17 GW of solar PV, onshore wind, offshore wind and storage projects across nine markets in Europe.

What you’ll do:

• Support the management of purchase requests and the creation of purchase
  orders.
  
• Assist in matching supplier invoices with purchase orders and/or collecting
  the required approvals.
  
• Support the Accounts Payable team in day-to-day administrative and
  accounting activities.
  
• Help analyse payment due dates and support the payment run process.
  
• Assist in checking the consistency of data between the Procure-to-Pay
  system and the accounting system.
  
• Support the preparation of documents and data needed for the monthly
  closing process.
  
• Interact with external accounting service providers and internal
  stakeholders to support smooth finance operations.
  
• Maintain accurate records and help ensure proper
  filing of accounting documentation.
