Our technology starts with you.\n\n * Description of the activity/project \n * The candidate, who will play an active role in the molecular biology laboratory, will be included in the Silicon Biotech team dealing with the projects currently on-going, specifically:\n * Freeze-drying (optimization of protocols and recipes)\n * Demo test (sequence study and preliminary test/optimization)\n * Use of Q3plus V2/ CAS instrument platforms\n * Skill to be acquired the candidate should already have a theory biomolecular background, during his lab. experience he / she should acquire the following skills:\n * Real time PCR mix preparation, instruments setting, results analysis and interpretation\n * Sample preparation technique (magnetic beads / column)\n * Main lab Equipment usage (thermocycler, spectrophotometer, micropipette etc.)\n * Lyophilization technique (setting recipe and freeze-dry cycle, test the results)\n * Real time PCR/LAMP assay development (sequence study, setting specific sw tool for assay creation)\n * Objectives to be achieved the candidate should achieve the following objectives:\n * Design and optimization of qPCR/LAMP assay.\n * Setting of freeze-dry recipe for qPCR/LAMP mix\n * Education:\n * Master\u2019s degree in biotechnology, biology, or a related field.\n * Technical Expertise:\n * Knowledge of main technique of molecular biology.\n * Good experience and knowledge of laboratory practice.\n * Software Proficiency:\n * Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).\n * Language:\n * Business-level proficiency in English, both written and spoken.\n * Soft Skills:\n * Project management capabilities.\n * Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments.\n\n\n\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
