Our technology starts with you.\n\nAbout RFOC\n\nThe RFOC (RF \u0026 Optical Communication) Sub group is an organization deployed in France and Italy. It designs and delivers products using cutting-edge technologies in various fields: consumer electronics, space, satellite internet and automotive. \n\n \n\nBy joining ST and our teams at the forefront of their field, you will contribute to the development of our next differentiating products using the most advanced technologies.\n\n \n\nThe candidate will be part of a team in charge of Test and Product development activities, for Silicon Photonics integrated circuits.\n\nThe purpose of the Test and Product Engineer role is to plan, implement and control all activities related to the test development and industrialization of integrated circuits, with special focus on quality, time to market, time to volumes, yield and cost control, to ensure timely execution and products profitability.\n\nIn the specific case of this job requisition, the candidate will join an R\u0026D team, working on an innovative test solution, for Silicon Photonics integrated circuits, manufactured in a STMicroelectronics leading-edge technology.\n\n \n\nMajor activities for this role are:\n\n * development and validation of an innovative HW/SW test solution, for Silicon Photonics integrated circuits on Automatic Test Equipment (ATE)\n * Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) test programs coding (Java based) and verification\n * Silicon Photonics integrated circuits prototypes verification\n * Electrical/Optical characterization activities, in direct collaboration with the other R\u0026D teams involved in the project\n\n\n\n \n\nProfile (candidate\u0027s skills)\n\n\u2022 Degree in Electronics Engineering\n\n\u2022 Optoelectronics deep knowledge\n\n\u2022 English fluency\n\n \n\nSoft skills\n\n\u2022 Innovation\n\n\u2022 Problem solving\n\n\u2022 Interpersonal skills\n\n \n\nCandidates with one or more of the following skills will be preferred:\n\n\u2022 Java Programming\n\n\u2022 Basics of statistics\n\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
