Marketing internship

Belmond is seeking a versatile and proactive Marketing Intern to join our Southern Europe Brand Team in Milan. This unique role is designed for a creative and organized individual who wishes to gain 360-degree experience in luxury hospitality marketing.

The successful candidate will provide essential support to the regional marketing function, blending project management skills with operational marketing execution. You will contribute to the visual storytelling and the implementation of strategic campaigns that make our iconic properties in Italy, Spain, and Portugal stand out for our discerning global clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and production of high-end marketing materials (brochures, restaurant & bar menus, promotional flyers, and digital banners), ensuring all content adheres to Belmond’s brand guidelines.
• Organize and maintain the regional digital asset libraries (images and videos), ensuring they are easily accessible for stakeholders and partners.
• Assist with the coordination of photo and video shoots, from creative briefing to image selection, ensuring the brand’s aesthetic is consistently captured.
• Support the Marketing team in the implementation of annual strategies and local campaigns, helping to keep projects on track and executed within the luxury standards of the brand.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and work closely with PR, Sales, and Operational teams to align on marketing initiatives and brand partnerships.

• Currently enrolled or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong project management mindset; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, respect deadlines, and pay extreme attention to detail.
• A keen eye for aesthetics, typography, and layout, with the ability to understand and evaluate "on-brand" vs "off-brand" content.
• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent in English and Italian (both written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential. Knowledge of Premiere Pro or Figma is a plus.
