We are looking for a student/recent graduate to be a key part of our willing and energetic Risk team, with motivated and proactive personality, who can adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.

The intern will have responsibilities from the first days and work closely with Risk leaders across the company, having the possibility to learn a lot and gain meaningful and broad skills. 

In particular, the key responsibilities areas of competence will be the following:

• Support team with reporting and monitoring key fraud risk metrics;


• Engage in strategic projects related to fraud risk, driven by business needs;


• Identify trends by reviewing cases daily to timely capture flash fraud trends with quick response to stop loss leakage.

Requirements:

• Graduate or Graduating from your Bachelor or Masters Degree in economics or mathematics;


• Familiar with Excel and SQL;


• Analytical mindset;


• Strong written and verbal communication skills (both in English and Italian) are required (French and/or Spanish will be a plus).

• First chat with two colleagues of the risk team, a deep dive into your motivation and learning goals for the internship.


• Case Study: A skills-based test with a debriefing session involving key stakeholders, conducted in our Milan office or online & one of our Recruiter 


• Quick chat with our Chief Risk Officer 


• Final Chat with Simone (CEO): An opportunity to discuss Scalapay’s values and assess cultural alignment.
