Technical Advisory - MEP Intern

Role description:

 Are you a recent graduate ready to dive into the job market and looking to be part of a multinational company? Arcadis is seeking a talented Intern with MEP knowledge to join our Technical Advisory division. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support our clients on significant projects in the real estate sector, contributing to meaningful and challenging initiatives of Due Diligence.

Supporting our team of Technical advisors, which operates for the identification of risks and opportunities on feasibilities and transactions, you will carry out the verification of systems and related documentation performing both on-site inspections at sites (with the necessary precautions and safety requirements) and Data Room analysis, becoming a point of reference for the client in relation to MEP findings and risks.

During your internship, you will learn to manage complex projects and develop innovative solutions. This internship aims for hiring placement and represents a gateway to a professional future full of opportunities, in a stimulating and collaborative environment, where you can actively contribute to the success of our clients and develop a rewarding career.

Role accountabilities:

• Inspection and technical verification of the systems;
• Document review of systems documentation (design, certifications, permitting and statutory documentation, etc);
• Analysis of the maintenance status of the property through an inspection;
• Verification of compliance with the present documentation, discrepancies and identification of risks;
• Drafting of Technical Due Diligence reporting in English and/or Italian related to the MEP systems;
• Support in drafting multy-year CapEx reports of the properties, tenancy analysis and lease agreements
• Development of analyses and projects within a multi-disciplinary team in an international environment;
• Liaison with national and international clients, primarily investors, investment banks, and developers

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Bachelor or Master's Degree in Energy, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering;
• A previous brief experience in Due Diligence will represent a strong plus;
• Excellent level of English (B2/C1) written and spoken and fluency in Italian;
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented attitude;
• Goal-oriented;
• Excellent knowledge of the Office Suite;
• Willingness to travel nationally/internationally.
