La Scuola International School – Milano is seeking a creative, skilled and passionate part-time Music Teacher (8 to 10 hours per week) to develop engaging and meaningful musical experiences for children.
At La Scuola, we see music not simply as a specialist subject, but as one of the many languages through which children can explore, communicate, create, collaborate and express their thinking.
The Music Teacher will work closely with classroom teachers, atelierists and the pedagogical team, creating opportunities for children to explore sound, rhythm, voice, movement, instruments, improvisation, composition and performance, while building interdisciplinary connections with classroom inquiries and projects. Teacher will support a developmentally appropriate, child-centered curriculum grounded in methodologies such as Orff-Schulwerk and Kodály.
Schedule: The teacher is expected to be onsite for in-person instruction as agreed upon with Principal and Leadership Team.

Qualifications
Start date: Immediate
Salary: 900 - 1,000 euro per month for 8-10 hours per week.
Candidates must be authorized to work in Italy. Prior to beginning work and as a condition of employment in order to comply with the law, all employees must provide documentation to prove eligibility to work in Italy.
Final candidates will need to pass Background Clearance (Fedina Penale) and a physical exam, and provide a recent copy of a negative Tuberculosis (TB) test and other immunization records.
