Business Development Manager

We are engaged by our client, a leading shipping & logistics provider. They seek an experienced Kuwait-based Business Development Manager - Break Bulk / Project Cargo to lead the ongoing expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Break Bulk / Project Cargo sector.
2. Develop and execute strategic business plans to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base.
3. Create product awareness and arrange customer presentations and product demonstrations to improve sales opportunities.
4. Handle quotations & all Commercial aspects of Break Bulk / Project Cargo opportunities.
5. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to promote our services and brand.
6. Collaborate with operational team members, coordinating with vendors and internal clients.
7. Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline, and achievements to senior management.
8. Understand and communicate current market conditions and business trends to create strategies that will increase company margins.
9. Use the CRM system to create/manage activities and business opportunities.

Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
Previous 5 years of experience in Breakbulk/Project Cargo business development.
Excellent communication skills.
High level of ethics and professionalism.
Outgoing personality, team attitude.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
Excellent spoken English & Arabic.
