Job Summary/Purpose

Provide technical assistance to the IS Division within the IT Department.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist in collecting and analyzing preliminary information about current systems.
2. Gather and analyze existing documentation and sample document forms.
3. Collect quantitative information about document flows, file sixes, and processing frequencies.
4. Design simple reports and screen layouts for user review in accordance with directives supplied by an assigned supervisor.
5. Participate in the preparation of systems specification report.
6. Develop and test machine-re-definitions of simple menu and program-controlled screens.
7. Design detailed program structure and prepares corresponding logic descriptions in simple cases.
8. Code simple programs in selected programming languages on the basis of corresponding logic descriptions.
9. Prepare the program test plan and checks the program using test data base as planned.
10. Participate in production of user-oriented systems' documentation and assists in the integration of new systems with manual procedures and information flows.
11. Attend training sessions on various systems development aspects such as systems analysis and design methodologies, programming languages, methods and techniques, etc....
12. Attend training on operation systems and software packages used within information systems department.
13. Keep up-to-date with new approaches to system development and changes in computer technology.

Adhere to Al-Sayer Group policies and health and safety regulations.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports and presentations. 
Document and maintain records of activities and process workflows on internal communication portals.
