Commercial Freight Manager

On behalf of our client, who is into Freight Forwarding services, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the team as the Commercial Freight Head. This role will be instrumental in driving the commercial strategy, expanding our client base, and maximizing revenue opportunities within the freight sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth and profitability in the commercial freight segment.
• Lead a team of commercial professionals, providing direction, support, and mentorship to achieve business objectives and exceed targets.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, leveraging industry contacts, market knowledge, and competitive insights.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, pricing, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, and adapt business strategies accordingly to stay ahead of the competition.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial roles within the freight, transportation, or logistics industry, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets.
• Strong leadership abilities, with a demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and empower teams to excel in a competitive environment.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and partners.
