Facilities Operations & Maintenance Manager

Under the supervision of the Public Works Director, responsible for facilities engineering, maintenance, operations, and application of quality management programs within Public Works Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities. Works on solutions exercising independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results for total program in concert with and at the direction of the Public Works Director. Administrator of the Public Works O&M program(s), having full authority and responsibility for ensuring performance objectives and standards are met. The Facilities Operations & Maintenance Manager (O&M) or designated alternate shall be readily available on-site during regular working hours (the designated alternate manager shall be assigned by the Public Works Director from one of the Public Works Departments).

• Responsible for all operations aspects of implementing the contract including cost management, schedule management, data management, and other related operations and maintenance activities.
• Ensures all Public Works activities are performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards and codes imposed by the U.S. Government.
• Communicates professionally, both orally and in writing, with the Client, Task Order Manager, Deputy Task Order Manager, Sr. Director and subordinates, as needed, to relay information.
• Responsible for managing and leading lower level managers and employees performing facilities operations and maintenance related activities.
