Job Summary

• Must understand DOD movements terminology and be able to troubleshoot problems. Coordinates with military personnel and other Movement Control Teams (MCT) for delivery and receiving of equipment etc. with the use of commercial and company assets for completion of the mission. Responsible to ensure that all documents are prepared correctly. Responsible for maintaining and compiling records manually and electronically. Responsible for receiving validating and processing all Transportation Movement Requests (TMR) Executes schedules and related tasks to include convoy support load and cargo validations and daily communications with the Movement Control Battalion (MCB). Additional duties include creating Transportation Movement Requests (TMR) operating Transportation Coordinator Automated Information for Movement Systems (TCAIMS) operating Global Distribution Management System for Movement Systems (GDMS) submitting KMOI request and the up keeping of the daily situation report (SITREPS) military. Position responsibilities also require substantial data processing that encompass administrative duties in support of the entire Movement Control Battalion (MCB).
• Strongly preferred 88N 88M or previous MCT experience
• Must have strong computer skills to include Outlook Excel Access and Power Point
• Must have an active Secret Clearance
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Must possess time management and organizational skills and able to make onthe spot changes

Additional requirements:

• Must be fluent in English
• Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 15 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
• Must possess drivers license with at least 14 months of remaining validity
• It should be understood that employment may be located in potentially dangerous areas including combat or war zones. This might involve the possibility of suffering harm by dangerous forces or friendly fire. These dangers are inherent to working conditions in a dangerous environment.
