Document Drafting: Assisting in the preparation, review, and drafting of legal documents such as contracts, agreements, memoranda, and correspondence.
Documentation Management: Organizing and maintaining legal files, databases, and documentation systems to ensure efficient retrieval and storage of legal information.
Compliance Support: Assisting in monitoring legal and regulatory compliance requirements and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
Contract Management: Assisting in the review and management of contracts, including tracking key dates, maintaining contract templates, and facilitating contract execution processes.
Administrative Support: Providing general administrative support to the legal department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing meeting minutes, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Communication and Correspondence: Assisting in the preparation of legal reports, presentations, and other communication materials as required.
Legal Updates: Keeping abreast of legal developments, changes in legislation, and industry practices relevant to the organization's operations, and sharing updates with the legal team.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration , Management or a related field is a MUST.
3 - 5 years of Experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role is preferred, particularly in a corporate/legal department setting.
Good understanding of legal principles, contract law, and relevant regulations. Knowledge of Kuwaiti laws and regulations is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage legal documentation and maintain confidentiality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
Ability to draft clear and concise legal documents and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and review.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools.
