Job Description - Operation Manager - SOS HR Solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Management:
    • Oversee daytoday operations of the warehouse including receiving storage and dispatch of goods.
    • Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to maximize productivity and minimize errors.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
    • Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff including hiring training and performance management.
    • Foster a culture of accountability teamwork and continuous improvement within the warehouse team.
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure team members have the necessary resources to excel in their roles.
  • Operational Efficiency:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the warehouse operations.
    • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline workflow and increase efficiency.
    • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and drive datadriven decisionmaking.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other departments including logistics procurement and customer service to ensure seamless coordination of operations.
    • Communicate effectively with crossfunctional teams to address issues and optimize processes throughout the supply chain.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues related to quality or logistics.
    • Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with vendors to optimize procurement costs and maintain high product quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in operations management preferably in the retail or ecommerce industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities and a track record of driving process improvements.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
  • Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Must be visa 18 transferable and fluent in both Arabic and English.
