The Purpose of the Role
This position will be responsible for leading the Honeywell Connected Enterprise (HCE)Cybersecurity consulting services business in the assigned geography including responsibility forthe delivery of planned financial results. In addition to supervising a team of cybersecurityconsultants, this role will also actively participate in the delivery of cyber projects. The Sr.Cybersecurity Supervisor is expected to understand how financial success is measured andcontribute to the overall success of the department relating the overall key business objectivesand goals to project objectives. Also, the Sr. Cybersecurity Supervisor should be able to perceive
problems well in advance, and consider the broad range of financial, commercial, and technicalfactors in assessing situations, identifying possible solutions and implementing the approvedsolutions.
The position will have a direct reporting relationship to the Regional Operations Manager, HCE Cybersecurity. The successful candidate will possess the ability to be strategic and tactical whileleading and supervising a team, possessing strong customer service skills, and influencing andmaintaining close working relationship with other departments.
Responsibilities:
1. Assume leadership role in all on-site HCE-Cybersecurity service activities ensuring ontime delivery and within budget for projects as well as the satisfaction of the customer.
2. Supervise and manage a team of cyber security/network service personnel includingunderstanding personnel strategic direction based on business requirements to includerecruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, development, and performancemanagement.
3. Financial performance of cyber security business within assigned geography. Includesprogress reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
4. Liaison with Sales, Service, and Project key personnel to promote and secure industrialcyber security/networking consulting services business including proposal developmentand customer presentations.
5. Establish goals that drive the organization to success by understanding the businessdirection and customer needs.
6. Develop sound and trusted relationships with internal and external customers byproviding accurate and efficient support.
7. In cooperation with peers and other functional leaders, ensure process optimization,effectiveness, and productivity by implementing standardization incorporating best inclass tools and support systems to deliver service excellence.
8. Work with customers and other Honeywell groups to establish appropriate benchmarks,how they will be measured, and specific actions that should result.
9. Arranges the right combination of skills and experiences required by engaging Honeywellspecialists to quickly address problems as they occur.
10. Ability to communicate on various levels of the organization both verbal and written.
11. Maintain technical competency in security/network best practices and managementsolutions.
12. Professionally represent the HCE-Cybersecurity business in interactions with internal andexternal customers and business partners as required.Assume leadership role in assigned projects ensuring project delivered on time and within budgetand to the satisfaction of the customer
13. Keep technically current with the Honeywell networking and wireless product/systemsportfolio, while maintaining expert knowledge on specific designated network disciplines
14. Maintain cyber security certifications
15. Maintain knowledge of current industry security standards such as IEC-62443, ISO27000, etc.
16. Develop sound and trusted relationships with internal and external customers byproviding accurate and efficient technical/engineering support
17. Respond to customer inquiries, questions, and issues by diagnosing problems andproviding the most appropriate technical solution in an accurate and timely manner
18. Maintain industrial safety awareness through the completion of pertinent safetycertifications.
