Job Description

A day in your life with us:

• A genuine passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to promoting people & planet.
• Research or review regulatory, technical, or market issues related to sustainable practices.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in driving sustainability programs forward.
• Monitor or track sustainability indicators, such as energy usage, natural resource usage, waste generation, and recycling. 
• Act as an advocate for sustainability, raising awareness and promoting sustainable practices both internally and externally.
• Write project proposals to secure funding for sustainability projects 
• Provide technical or administrative support for sustainability programs or issues. 
• Identify or procure needed resources to implement sustainability programs or projects. 
• Create or maintain plans or other documents related to sustainability projects. 
• Develop reports or presentations to communicate the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives. 

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in the Sustainability field.
• Track record of Developing sustainability project goals, objectives, initiatives, or strategies 
• Experience working successfully within a matrixed organization. 
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to work in a team or teams, working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience to engage in community outreach and education programs related to sustainability.
• Would be beneficial if the candidate is fluent in Arabic
• Ability to collaborate with different departments, suppliers, and community stakeholders to drive sustainability goals.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders at various organizational levels.
