Junior Civil Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the Project Workflow

   The job responsibility of a Junior Civil Engineer involves managing the progress of project elements. They visit construction sites to take measurements, gather data, and address contractor questions on behalf of the supervising civil engineer. They serve as a point of contact between the engineering team and construction workers and create project schedules and deadlines under lead engineers' supervision.

2. Inspection of Construction Sites

   Junior Civil Engineers visit construction sites to track progress and inspect whether projects comply with construction codes and specifications. They prepare reports on site conditions, delays or issues, project progress, etc., and submit them to senior civil engineers.

3. Preparing Cost Estimates

   Junior Engineers develop cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment types, etc., to determine the project plan's economic feasibility. They work closely with lead civil engineers in reviewing bids and examining costs to align materials and equipment expenses with the project budget.
