Responsibilities:

1. Plan and design major civil projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, dams, water and waste management systems, and structural steel fabrications.
2. Develop construction specifications and procedures.
3. Evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials.
4. Interpret, review, and approve survey and civil design work.
5. Conduct field services for civil works.
6. Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules.
7. Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
8. Develop and implement quality control programs.
