Barista

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team in Kuwait. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, as well as providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
2. Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
3. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee preparation and serving areas.
4. Ensure that all beverages are prepared according to established recipes and quality standards.
5. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints.
6. Keep track of inventory and restock supplies as needed.
7. Operate coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders, in a safe and efficient manner.
8. Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene practices.
9. Stay up-to-date with current coffee and beverage trends and make suggestions to enhance the menu offerings.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar role.
2. Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and techniques.
3. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
4. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
6. Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues.
7. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in food and beverage preparation.
8. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
9. Passion for coffee and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
