IT Help Desk Support

Admin Team · Khaitan, Kuwait TITLE: IT HELP DESK SUPPORT
REPORTS TO: IT MANAGER
Primary Purpose:
Assists faculty, staff, students, and parents with technical support of computers, applications, and related technology. Support includes setup, installation, and troubleshooting applications, systems, and peripherals. The position’s responsibilities require pro-active and intelligent independent analysis, communication and problem solving. Work is performed with little supervision and requires initiative and judgement.
Responsibilities:
IT support calls – Computer systems and Peripherals. Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email. PC system and student Laptops installation, setup and configuration. Microsoft Office 365 Suite Applications support (Staff, Students and Parents) Laptop-Projector setup for presentations and events Website content and social media updates Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel Provide accurate information on IT products or services. Support and assistance for all school applications System End Point protection: Updates, Patches and monitoring Conduct IT Training and Orientations for Staff, Students and Parents Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems. Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems. CCTV System – technical support Documentation of customized Handouts
Qualifications:
Candidates who can join immediately and are available locally are preferred Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role Tech-savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases, and remote control Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues Proficiency in English Excellent communication skills Customer-oriented and cool-tempered BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science, or relevant field
