Job Description - Learning & Development Specialist

Job Title: Visual Merchandiser (Furniture/ Accessories)

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Create aesthetic visual displays of furniture and accessories
  • Act in alignment with company’s brand, product, and target market
  • Guarantee effective space management techniques are addressed
  • Monitor the sales in order to capitalize on best-sellers and derive solutions for slow-moving items
  • Change displays to promote new products or seasonal/festive themes
  • Correspond with Showroom Manager and Merchandise Controller to order and display new items
  • Research design trends to remain up-to-date
  • Liaise with other departments, when necessary
  • Perform other duties, as instructed, which would contribute to effective business operations

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design is preferable

Job Title: Sales Executive

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads by identifying and approaching potential customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Give sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Negotiate quotations and promotions with customers
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports in a timely manner
  • Monitor competitors in the market to ensure competitive advantage
  • Maintain updated knowledge of the products
  • Check in with customers after sale to guarantee customer satisfaction
  • Follow up on invoices and coordinate with finance department to ensure timely payments

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain updated knowledge of the inventory on the shop floor
  • Complete daily tasks assigned by Showroom Management, such as pricing, checking on designated zones, and more
  • Approach customers in a welcoming manner
  • Listen carefully to understand and identify the customers’ needs
  • Present and demonstrate solutions that meet the customers’ requirements
  • Answer all queries customers may have about the products
  • Thoroughly explain company’s sales & return policy
  • Close the deal and create quotations
  • Create and update a database of current and new customers
  • Assist Accessories VM in replenishing the accessories shelves
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss personal and team goals
  • Achieve monthly sales target
  • Follow up with market trends
  • Review the inventory with Merchandise Controller- Number Available vs. Stock Balance
  • Perform other duties, as instructed, which would contribute to effective business operations

  • Correspond with the Sales team for various inquiries
  • Ensure the final design is in line with building regulations and company standards

    • Proficient in MS Office
    • Able to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Job Title: Learning & Development Specialist

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Correspond with managers to identify training needs
  • Formulate training plans/ calendar regularly (monthly, quarterly and annually)
  • Create and conduct the training programs that will assist in the organization’s development
  • Organize all materials that are required
  • Utilize the feedback obtained after the program when strategizing for further development
  • Prepare training certificates for all attendees
  • Keep up-to-date with training and development trends
  • Prepare a budget for all training activities
  • Perform other duties, as instructed, which would contribute to effective business operations

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, or any related field
  • Experience: 3 years of training experience
