Audit Data Analyst

Job Role: Conducts data analysis utilizing analytics tools within established deadlines in order to provide enhanced assurance and alignment with GIA objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Designs and executes data extraction aggregation and analysis.
• Creates prepares and documents detailed specifications of data extraction. Includes: creation and use of documents to facilitate the request and integrity of the data that is required to execute analysis objectives.
• Automate and schedule scripts to facilitate continuous monitoring.
• Provides technical assistance to maintain data analysis tools including scripts scheduling connectors to source databases.
• Prepares Data Analysis Result Report to communicate identified issues to management.
• Arranges for entrance meeting and prepares an agenda.
• Assumes responsibility for the assigned audit data analytic engagements.
• Responsible for ensuring audit analysis is carried out in accordance with Internal Audit standards and requirements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Ensure that all communications to GMs (including providing opinions on behalf of Internal Audit) are routed / cleared by the Group Chief Internal Auditor.

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Business / Management/ Accounting / Information / Data Management or related fields.
• 2 to 3 years experience in Data Analysis especially scripting in a Banking environment with tools like Tableau ACL PowerBI and Excel.
• Experience in SQL scripting and Tableau Dashboards would be an advantage.

Skills:

• Experience in exploiting relational data structures including relationships between tables and grouping data.
• Capability to administer continuous monitoring/auditing procedures.
• Good English report writing and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of scripting techniques with a general working knowledge of business and banking operations.
• Preference is given to bilingual individuals (oral & written capabilities).
