We are engaged by our client, a leading logistics industry provider, and are currently interviewing for a highly motivated Commercial Manager Warehousing – to further develop their warehousing product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion within the warehousing segment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery and increase customer satisfaction.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the warehousing sector, including prospecting for potential clients, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts.
• Conduct regular market analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, using insights to inform business decisions and market positioning.
• Monitor financial performance of warehousing operations, analyzing key metrics and implementing cost-effective measures to optimize profitability.
• Provide leadership and direction to the warehousing commercial team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee contract negotiations and management, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and mitigating risks.
• Ensure that warehousing operations meet or exceed quality standards and regulatory requirements, implementing quality assurance measures as needed.
• Work closely with operations teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and maximize resource utilization within the warehousing facilities.
• Prepare regular reports on commercial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 7 years experience in commercial management within the warehousing industry, with a track record of driving business growth and profitability.
• Strong understanding of warehousing operations, including inventory management, distribution, and logistics processes.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic thinker with analytical skills and the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and empower teams to achieve goals and objectives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
