Job Description - Human Resource Head Office

The Human Resource Head Office will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing of staff, administrating pay, benefits, and leave and enforcing company policies and practices. Particularly important to have prior knowledge and experience of social audits and requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintains compliance with local laws, regulations and recommended best practices, reviews policies and practices to ensure Company is in compliance.
  • Responsible for the development of best practices in relation to social accountability to ensure Company is aligned with Global best practices in regards to labor.
  • Partners with the Leadership Team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it related to talent, recruitment and retention.
  • Provides support and guidance to all departments related to polices and procedures of HR
  • Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations

Skills

Desired /Experience/Knowledge

  • Prior knowledge or experience of Social Audits
  • Strong understanding of local law
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or related Software’s
  • Proficiency wit or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HR system
