Key Responsibilities:
Roles and Responsibilities:
Category Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a robust category strategy aligned with overarching marketing and business objectives.
Market Research:
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer preferences, behaviors, and emerging trends within the category.
- Utilize data and insights to make informed decisions and identify growth opportunities.
Campaign Planning and Execution:
- Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns, promotions, and advertising efforts specific to the category.
- Collaborate with other Marketing teams to create compelling messaging and materials.
Sales Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor sales performance and make real-time adjustments to advertising strategies as needed for optimal results.
KPI Tracking and Analysis:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the category, including sales, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
- Make data-driven decisions and adjust strategies accordingly.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the budget for category marketing activities, ensuring fiscal responsibility and resource optimization.
Risk Identification:
- Identify risks associated with the category, such as changes in market conditions.
- Formulate proactive strategies to mitigate risks effectively.
Influencer Collaboration:
- Collaborate with influencers and industry experts to promote products or services to their audiences.
- Enhance brand visibility and market presence through strategic partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in marketing, or brand manager typically ranging from 3 to 5 years.
- Deep understanding of the industry in which the company operates
- Proficiency in using data analytics tools and interpreting market research.
- Understanding of market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscapes.
- Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Creativity and innovation in developing marketing campaigns, promotions, and advertising efforts.
- Familiarity with marketing technologies and tools, including data analytics, CRM systems, and digital marketing platforms.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and consumer preferences.
- Financial acumen to ensure cost-effectiveness and maximum return on investment.
- Ability to think strategically and develop long-term category strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree (MBA) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in marketing, category management, or related fields may be advantageous.
