Job Description - Business Development Officer (BDO)

A Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying and expanding business opportunities for the company. They will play a key role in driving the growth of the business by generating new leads, building relationships with potential clients, and closing deals. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong understanding of the industry and market trends.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, and social media platforms
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to ensure repeat business and referrals
  3. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and competitor analysis
  4. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  5. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients
  6. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization to ensure smooth execution of sales and delivery processes
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities
  9. Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and achievements to the management team

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Has the capability of talking in the Kuwaiti dialect, القدرة على التكلم باللهجة الكويتية
  2. Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the same industry
  3. Strong knowledge of the local market and industry trends
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Self-motivated and target-driven
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  8. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  9. Fluency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken)
