Demi Chef de Partie - Arabic Cuisine

• The Demi Chef de Partie functionis to lend aid to the Chef de Partie whereverpossible.
• Prepares sauces, cold meats andvegetables. Cooks the lunch and dinner, assist in making cold& hot preparation
• Follow notes ofrecipes, ingredients that are to be served with the feature menu orthat you are trained or shown
• Preparing,cooking, finishing, and garnishing of all Hot & Cold foodproducts
• Preparation of menus for restaurantsand banquet, (a la carte or buffet)
• Make surethat set ups and mise-en-place are done accurately before openingthe restaurant
• In the respective kitchen areas,check the Food Rotation, Food quality andPresentation
• Work according to standard recipesprocedure
• Give support in setting up allbuffet
• Ensure your kitchen section hassufficient back up to help the service to runsmoothly
• Keep all food storage andrefrigeration very clean
• Make sure the kitchenis always clean; there should be no concessions made with regard tocleanliness
• Help in preparing requisitions andpar stocks to ensure sufficient supplies at all times and avoidoverstocking
• To be aware of functions, in houseoccupancy for breakfast or any other relevant information in thebanquet notice board
• Help the preparation ofall required food products and checks taste appeal, quantity andquality constantly
• Ensures that preparationsare ready on time and sufficient in quantities to operate servicehours uninterrupted. (For buffet and a la carterestaurant).

• Minimum of three years’experience working in a similar position in an Arabic CuisineRestaurant.
• Ability to work well underpressure.
• Works well in a team environmentability to work effectively under pressure.
• Bethorough and pay attention to detail.
• Excellentverbal communication skills in English andArabic.
