DIRECTOR OF HOUSEKEEPING - Grand Hyatt Kuwait City

Summary

Grand Hyatt Kuwait is looking for a passionate, dynamic and hardworking Female Director of Housekeeping who enjoys leading, and supporting the housekeeping and laundry operations in a large hotel.

This position requires hands-on leadership with strong people management, communications and superior organizational skills in order to drive the successful positioning of this multi-faceted hotel operations. The hotel will feature 302 luxury rooms and suites, four world class F&B venues and the largest conference and convention facilities in the city.

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for all functions related to the cleanliness of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house non-kitchen areas, as well as the laundry and dry-cleaning operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have experience in a similar role in a 5* luxury hotel and display strong traits in the following areas:

A proven track record in luxury operations as a Housekeeping Manager

Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

An instinctive eye for detail and a very keen passion for customer service

An inspirational, caring and engaging leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skill

A relentless and infectious passion for training and hands-on operational work

A sound pre-opening experience in large hotel operations is advantageous

Good problem solving, multi-tasking and administrative skills are a must
