Driver

Responsibilities:

1. Transportation: Safely transport the HVAC technician to and from job sites, ensuring timely arrival and departure.
2. Equipment Handling: Assist in loading and unloading HVAC equipment, tools, and materials from the vehicle at job sites.
3. Route Planning: Plan efficient routes to optimize travel time and minimize fuel consumption, taking into account traffic conditions and job site locations.
4. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle, including monitoring fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition.
5. Assistance with HVAC Tasks: Provide support to the HVAC technician during installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks, including handing tools, holding equipment, and following instructions.
6. Customer interactions: Interact professionally with customers when on-site, addressing any questions or concerns and providing assistance as needed.
7. Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as necessary.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel expenses, and job site activities for reporting purposes.

Qualifications:

1. Valid Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, demonstrating safe and responsible driving habits.
2. Experience: Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial or service-oriented environment, with a solid understanding traffic laws and regulations.
3. Technical Aptitude: Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and equipment, or a willingness to learn and assist with technical tasks under the guidance of the HVAC technician.
4. Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual labor as needed in support of HVAC installations and repairs.
5. Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and supervisors in a professional and courteous manner.
6. Problem Solving Ability: Ability to think critically and solve problems independently, especially in high-pressure situations or unexpected circumstances.
7. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in route planning, vehicle maintenance, and documentation tasks.
8. Reliability: Demonstrated reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to meeting job site deadlines and customer expectations.
9. Visa: Hold a Visa-18 (transferrable visa).
10. Ability to drive a (manual transmission) vehicle.
