Designation : Driver

Reporting to : Material Management Manager
Purpose and Scope of the Job:
Staff Transport to assigned designation, Medicines delivery to patients/customers houses, maintain daily record, documents handling, vehicle well keeping and maintenance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities/Performance Standards:
- Drivers shall be responsible for keeping the vehicles clean and well maintained by reporting to the Service Supervisor anything that needs attention regarding the maintenance or operation of the vehicle.
- Cleaning the vehicle on the outside and inside at least once a week, or more when required.
- Checking oil levels, tire levels, brake fluid, transmission, power steering, and radiator levels at least twice a month.
- Drivers shall submit on a maintenance form any noises, unusual running conditions or other suspicions that the vehicle may need maintenance.
- The driver shall be responsible for the staff he is responsible for picking up and dropping off, and shall maintain the schedule that is adopted by his supervisor on a regular and reliable basis.
- The driver is responsible for communicating with the Service Supervisor any information or alteration of schedule due to driving conditions, vehicle conditions, or other things beyond the driver's control.
- The driver shall maintain a register in each vehicle to write the daily activities.
- To follow quality and patient safety practices in the Hospital
- Ensures quality and patient safety practices are followed
- Provides or promotes people centered care
- Promotes inclusive health by providing equitable and accessible care to patients and families with special needs
- Driving Ambulance:
- Drive ambulance to transport very sick, injured, or recovering patients.
- Assist in lifting patients on to stretchers and in to ambulances.
- Help in administering first aid as needed.
- Report facts concerning accidents or emergencies to police or hospital staff.
- Keep ambulance and ambulance equipment clean.
- Restock ambulance supplies as needed.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications, Competences and Skills:
Education : High School
Experience : Two or more years of responsible related experience with knowledge of Kuwait Routes and handling location tracker/GPS etc.
Licensure: With Clean driving license
Language : Proficiency in Arabic and English Languages
Computer Proficiency : Not Applicable
Performance Competencies:
- Excellent driving, communication and people skills.
- Map-reading and first aid skills are also important.
- Punctuality, politeness and the ability to remain calm under any condition will be valued.
- Must be reasonably fit with normal hearing and vision.
