Position : Junior Virtualization Engineer

Location : Kuwait – Head Office

Type : Full-time

As a Junior Virtualization Engineer at ABYAT , your primary responsibility will be supporting the design, implementation, management, and troubleshooting of virtual environments within an organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in virtualized datacenter and SAN storage.
• Design, deploy, upgrade and maintain Datacenter virtualization and hyper-converged infrastructure solutions, including VMware vSphere, and Nutanix Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI).
• Create, configure and manage virtual machines (VMs), virtual networks, and storage resources in virtualized environments.
• Implement and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for the virtualized environments.
• Install, configure and manage physical machines across multiple branches, including rack-mounted servers and storage systems.
• Implement and impose security controls and best practices.
• Design, deploy, upgrade and manage SAN storage solutions to meet the organization requirements.
• Optimize performance and resource utilization for the virtualized infrastructure through capacity planning, performance monitoring, and tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtualization, hyper-converged infrastructure, physical servers and SAN storage.
• Collaborate with other technology team to gather their requirements and deliver optimal solutions that meet their needs.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or Telecommunication engineering.
• VMWare Certificate Professional (VCP).
• Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP).
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
