We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team at Arla Kuwait. As a Key Account Manager, you will have a major impact on the success of our Coop channel and key project deliveries. You will be responsible for managing a group of sales teams and customers, developing profitable business with new and existing clients and will be reporting directly to our Head of Sales – Kuwait.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess and apply detailed category and product knowledge as well as thorough knowledge of the client's business.
  • Responsible for the direct sales process, aiming to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Manage unit reconciliation and financial budget.
  • Lead sales expansion, introducing new products/services to clients and organizing visits to current and potential clients.
  • Develop and implement short and long-range sales plans and strategies to reach designated targets.
  • Retain long-term customer relationships with established clients.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service is provided to clients.
  • Secure new product/category/brand launches in your assigned universe.
  • Address and collaborate with clients on e-commerce efforts utilizing Arla's e-commerce capabilities.
  • Provide necessary information to sales representatives regarding clients' additional service needs.
  • Coach and set clear development plans for your sales team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive experience and background in COOP channel.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Ability to challenge processes and practices, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
