Gama Aviation are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager to join our team and support our unique operations based in Kuwait on a 8-4 week shift rotation. The Quality Manager is an integral role within the Kuwait operations, responsible for monitoring compliance and ensuring the operation continue to comply with the requirements of Part 145 regulation. As part of this role, the Quality Manager will create an annual Part 145 quality audit plan acceptable to the National Aviation Authority (NAA) and warrant the adequacy of procedures required to ensure airworthy aircraft. This is a fixed term contract position until June 2025. / About us:

• Implementing compliance monitoring which includes a feedback system to the accountable manager to ensure corrective action as necessary
• Monitoring all contract maintenance is carried out in accordance with the contract
• Monitoring the continued compliance with requirements of Part 145 and Part M
• Accompanying a competent authority auditor/surveyor as required throughout audits to ensure the organisation is fully aware of any findings raised during the audit
• Accountable for the Part 145 policy, plan and audit procedures
• Responsible for the currency of the MOE
• Acting as Form 4 Holder and Competent Person for the Quality Management System within Maintenance and Engineering functions in Kuwait
• Conducting Compliance investigations as required
• Maintaining regulatory compliance with EASA regulations in accordance with the QMS, striving to deliver excellence in accordance with the organisation’s vision and strategy
• Responsible for the development and management of the quality database software
• Attending the safety and compliance action groups and review board meetings

/ Skills, Qualifications and Experience required: Essential

• Compliance/Quality Management experience in an aerospace organisation engaged in aircraft or component maintenance and repair / modification
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Compliance Monitoring Manager AOC, ATO in support of the Compliance Monitoring Programme
• Ability to hold the EASA Quality Manager Form 4 as approved by the regulator for the following approvals; Part M and Part 145
• Extensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and have completed appropriate QMS training
• A confident and competent trainer having successfully completed a training delivery course
• Experience in conducting safety/compliance audits and inspections
• Ability to hold the appropriate security clearance required for the role
• Capable line manager who is an active team player with the ability to work collaboratively
• Broad aviation technical knowledge including considerable experience within an Engineering and Maintenance department
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internal and external to the organization

Advantageous

• Aviation related qualification in Quality Management
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Completed a recognised auditor course
• Willingness to work outside of normal working hours

• Accurate, numerate and excellent attention to detail
• Team player with the ability to work with a degree of autonomy
• Flexibility to travel when required
