Job Description - Restaurant Manager and Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job Title : Restaurant Manager

Reports to: Operation Manager

Key Responsibilities :

  • To recommend and implement changes or innovations in procedures, equipment to the General Manager
  • To monitor all Opening and Closing Procedures and follow up and training where required
  • Assist in developing and implementing formal training plans for team members
  • To concentrate and focus on the restaurant area during service hours.

Communication:

  • To operate an efficient and accurate administration process in order to meet internal requirements
  • To take charge of daily briefing in the absence of the Manager on Duty to ensure that the team receives the following information
  • Changes in procedure
  • Station assignments
  • VIP arrivals and notes
  • Additional staff requirements during busy periods, schedule change
  • All team members to be aware of the monthly targets with regards to revenue – up selling and cross selling
  • Quality improvements and upgrades sales improvement
  • Co-ordinate with Executive Chef and implement systematic testing of new products and experimental projects to upgrade the services or procedures at Roka
  • To achieve strong effective selling through trained and motivated employees and to maintain records of all trainings conducted within the outlets

General:

  • To carry out the duty managers shift, overlooking opening and closing procedures in order to meet management requirements
  • To direct and organize the implementation of new incentive programs
  • Implement new and update SOP’s, ensure adequate training to the team members
  • To monitor and check guest satisfaction
  • To control operating and merchandising costs
  • Assist the Manager on Duty to maintain the highest standards of food hygiene
  • Assist the Manager on Duty to maintain good Health and Safety Standards
  • To consistently strive for quality of service that will increase volume sales and profit and provide consistency in our experience to our guests
  • to conduct performance appraisals for all the FOH team members

Skills

Candidate Profile:

1.Requirement open to European Nationals

2.Bachelors/ diploma in Hospitality Management or relevant qualification.

3.Experience in high end luxury fine dining Restaurants or Social Networking Clubs.

4.To monitor all Opening and Closing Procedures and follow up and training where require

5.Responsible for the daily operations of the Restaurant which included restaurant staffing, scheduling and supervision while ensuring a quality guest experience.
