Job Description

We are Looking for a Sales Capability Manager for one of our FMCG clients based in the Kuwait.

Title: Sales Capability Manager

Location: Kuwait.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in a similar position in the Food and Beverages industry /FMCG.

Job Summary: Facilitate and support the roll-out of a Best-in Class Standard Operating Procedures for sales bychallenging and ensuring the quality use of tools, processes, and skills. Train, develop and motivate all sales personnel and merchandisers so that defined levels of service quality to trade accounts are achieved in the most professional and cost-effective way.

Develop the insights and plans that will step up our sales capability, improving both effectiveness and efficiency through the implementation of best practice, while ensuring consistency in the approach across categories.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage processes and automations which will allow the team to work a maximum efficiency while giving the managers a clear view of everything that is going on.
  • This includes optimizing the tools that are currently used, the design and automation of processes, the optimization of the sales strategies.
  • Identify and cascade best practices from other regions.
  • Develop the sales commission aiming to reflect the company KPIs
  • Evolve a strong productivity agenda and drive the same thru Regions & Channel Managers.
  • Identify key Capability Gaps, both in people & systems to deliver the AOP and build solutions around it thru the GTM, Sales Productivity and Capability Managers.
  • Identify new business opportunities in Traditional Trade & Emerging Channels and coach and build system capability to capture these opportunities.
  • Research, develop and implement Sales Development Plan
  • Instil sales process discipline, adherence to standards, and excellence in execution while holding sales managers accountable to quality and accuracy establishing driving a well-defined, predictable rhythm of the business to deliver over-achievement of business results.
  • Champion and ingrain the benefits of continuous development and improvement in sales

Experience, Education and Skills:

Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of work experience in FMCG Segment.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

Skills:

  • Ability to support the development of RTM Model & Strategy
  • Strong knowledge of both internal and external influencers within the food industry
  • Familiar with the key drivers of sales force effectiveness and the capabilities, processes and practices required to drive them.
  • Strong verbal and written communication as well as facilitation skills - Confidence to lead and direct discussion across all levels. Ability to engage and enthuse others with clear, concise communication to reach decision and recommendation.
  • Technology inclined and Project Management skills- ability to pull together, manage and lead crossfunctional teams. Build critical paths, communicate clearly and maintain focus &
