Job Description - Sales Manager

Job description: The Job stakeholder serves a critical role in driving the team to meet the annual objectives and sales targets through optimizing productivity, managing the daily activities of the wood division, determining the customers’ needs for preparing the shop drawings and appropriate designs, enhancing the productivity in the showroom in addition to developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans for raising the revenue, sales achievement rates, and business opportunities and conducting the gap analysis for improvement. Duties and responsibilities: Participate in setting astrategic plan with various techniques for developing the internal workflow andprocedures internally and meeting the long and short terms sales targets.Set SMART objectives forthe wooden division in line with the departmental goals to raise productivityand lead the team to expand the customer base and exceed individual targets.Conduct an analysis of thesales achievement and retention rates to identify the gaps areas and providethe best practices for raising the sales revenues and profits.Identify the customers’needs and budget for preparing the shop drawings and appropriate designs anddrive the operations to submit the highest quality for them.Review the designsensuring that they will be fitted with the customers’ requirements and placemeasurements, moreover, provide the guideline to enhance them accordingly.Asses the team’sperformance based on their KPIs, coach them to enhance their weak areas, andgrow in their career path.Enhance the methodologiesof presenting the sales point and products’ advantage to optimize the salesopportunities and raise customer satisfaction. Build and maintain long-termcustomer relationships for raising future business opportunities on a regularbasis.Lead the team to observeand identify the business needs and specifications in terms of wooden producttypes, measurements, dimensions, and materials through conducting meetings withthe customers.Conduct a strategic planto achieve the assigned targets by providing them with the best techniques forconvincing the clients and raising the sales achievement rates.Identify the improvementareas for enhancing the required designs ensuring that they are fitted with thecustomer requirements and provide the sales team the directions forimprovement. Develop HAC client basethrough prospecting, qualifying, and approaching HAC target customers in the marketalong with HAC current customers to influence and assist them in applying HAC-assignedproducts to their needs.Asses the sales team’sperformance and professionalism of sales executives to determine the weakpoints and coach them to raise productivity and grow in their career path.Identify the area ofimprovement for the new/ existing products based on the analytical reports fordetermining the gaps including bench market survey and market activities.Follow up and supervisemonthly/annual achievements for the showroom and coach the team to exceed thestandard sales achievement rates by implementing the largest number of deals aswell as meeting customer satisfaction.Collaborate with the marketingteam in the merchandising process for displaying the products with aprofessional methodology. Lead the team to establishthe technical and financial proposals to be submitted to the customers and raisethe engagement rates.Raise customers’ awarenessof HAC’s other services and products to increase cross-selling opportunities.Set the timeframe for each project as per the client’srequirements in terms of submitting the designs and beginning the fabricationprocesses if needed.Participate in providinginputs that might lead to the development of new products, modification ofexisting products, and termination of ineffective products.Keep up to date with the latest trends, technologies, andtechniques for developing and upgrading the designs in line with customerinputs.Revise the issued quotations based onthe quantity of the products and services that will be required from thecustomer side.Review the measurement of designsensuring its correction and accuracy to reduce the error rates in a timelymanner.Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’scustomer base and ensures its strong presence. Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, commerce,interior design, or relevant discipline.Minimum 8 years of experience as a sales manager orsupervisor in the kitchen design field and sales industries.Strong analytical skills to determine achievement and retentionrates and conduct an action plan accordingly.Demonstrated ability to communicate, present andinfluence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan toclose.Strong business sense and industry expertiseExcellent mentoring, coaching, and people managementskills.Ability to build relationships with peers,cross-functional counterparts, and upper management.Excellent innovative skills with the ability to proposenew ideas for improvement.
