Job Description - Supervisor - Applications

Ensuring that all applications developed by their team align with the organization's business objectives.
Functioning closely with other departments to understand their needs and requirements and develop applications that support the overall goals of the organization.
Implementing IT strategies that support the long-term goals of the organization, identifying emerging technologies and trends that could benefit the organization and develop plans to incorporate these into their applications.
Managing development and testing lifecycle and development of software applications.
Coordinate closely with Business Analyst to understand application requirements of the business.
Managing the development of all software applications within their department, ensuring that applications are developed according to established standards and procedures.
Overseeing the maintenance of all applications within their department. Ensure that applications are functioning properly, and any issues or bugs are resolved quickly.
Handling the budget allocated to the Applications Management Department, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
Setting performance goals and objectives, conducting performance evaluations, and providing feedback to help team members improve their performance.
Building and fostering a cohesive and collaborative team that works well together and have a sense of teamwork and encourage staff to share knowledge and expertise.
