Position Overview
This Public Administration Internship is designed to cultivate future leaders. Interns will rotate through key departments across our Administrative Affairs and Campus Safety & Facilities Divisions, including Cybersecurity, Campus Security, Clinic, Retail Operations, Facilities, Information Technology, Finance, and Human Resources. Upon successful completion, participants become eligible to apply for a full-time role at American International University, Kuwait.
Undergraduate and Graduate programs are 1 year in length.
The summer program is approximately 3 months.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage in department-specific projects and operations within the Administrative Affairs and Campus Safety & Facilities Divisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex organizational challenges.
- Complete significant projects addressing real-world issues, to be presented to executives.
- Collaborate with divisional leaders and campus executives on strategic planning within assigned teams.
- Participate in regular performance reviews to receive constructive feedback and improve leadership skills.
Qualifications (dependent upon the program)
- Completion of a Master of Public Administration (MPA), or other relevant Masters-degree program, from an accredited U.S. university.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Excellent team collaboration capabilities.
- Quick to adapt and learn new software or tools.
- Authorized to work in the United States and willing to relocate to Kuwait.
