German Language Teacher for children in Niederanven, Luxembourg

Job Information:

• Ref. # 192456 - Face-to-face German for 3-year-old boy and 6-year-old girl

• Location: Lessons are to be held at the students' home in Senningen, Niederanven, Luxembourg (6962)
• Availability: Tuesday and Thursday afternoon

• Lesson Frequency: Twice per week

• Lesson Duration: 45 minutes per session

• Current target language level: Beginner, but they have been taking classes and attend school in German

• Language spoken at home: Portuguese

• Students' language needs and goals: "To be able to comfortably communicate in German at school with schoolmates, follow instructions and develop at a regular and healthy pace in the target language to avoid any educational losses at school."

• Additional Information: "They go to a school in German, and they are able to follow the German basic structure for their age."

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons

• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes

• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals

• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language

• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field

• Minimum of two years of experience

• Experience teaching children is desired
