Agent (SR) Insurance

We are currently looking for a Senior Agent Insurance in our Insurance & Claims team for a temporary contract of 12 months.

Task Responsibilities

Assist in the administration of cargo claims

• Administer a follow up on claim records
• Handle and sort incoming cargo claim related correspondence
• Cross check, analyze and validate new claims (including documentation review)
• Gather evidence in coordination with worldwide stakeholders and assess/establish company liability
• Verify liability limits and prepare settlement offers, or support our suppliers in preparing settlement offers

• Manage claim-related communication with outstations, claimants and external partners

   

   

Assist in the administration of insurance contracts and policies

• Maintain updated policy records, ensuring all documentation is accurate
• Monitor assigned policy renewals, endorsements and premium payments, and coordinate actions as required with brokers, insurers and internal stakeholder
• Support the evaluation of insurance needs
• Assist in preparing documentation for new policies, amendments or tenders
• Review incoming insurance-related correspondence and ensure timely follow up

Coordinate assigned projects within the scope of responsibility

Contribute to overall team efficiency through related administrative and operational tasks

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Business administration, Law
• Working experience: at least 3 to 5 year of experience in the Insurance industry and / or claims handling
• Sound understanding of insurance underwriting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must
• Knowledge of transport and/or aviation insurance with familiarity with related liability frameworks is an advantage
• Strong initiative and problem-solving attitude
• Ability to work independently and handle challenging projects and tight deadlines
• Languages: English required, German and French desirable
• A certificate of good conduct will be required

Working Conditions

• Full-time position based in Luxembourg 
• A Certificate of Good Conduct (Casierjudiciaire, PolizeilichesFührungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection. 
• Category of the position is depending on the experience of the selected candidate.
