We are more than ready to become the world's best logistics eProcurement platform, making it as easy as buying a pizza with your phone. In order to strengthen our sales team for an even greater outreach, we are looking for a Business Development Manager (m/f/d) for big Enterprise sales!
This role is for an independent hunter, who also knows how to work in a great team, with a solid background in direct sales and working with top level stakeholders in the logistics industry.
Responsibilities
You initially get in touch with potential customers in order to establish a business relationship
Your goals are to increase the loyalty of existing customers while at the same time attracting new customers
The development of new opportunities and markets as well as the constant improvement of sales activities are part of the daily business
You take part in conferences, meetings and industry events
You are involved in the ongoing development of offers and suggestions for customers
You will actively participate in the development of goals for the team and company growth and make sure that these goals are achieved
Counter objections and deliver value-based sales pitches to prospective clients
Be an expert on the product and able to passionately explain how SHIPSTA improves our customers’ businesses
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas qualified revenue
Relevant experience in enterprise sales, marketing or related fields
Excellent communication skills and IT affinity
Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures within enterprise software applications
Logistics and Supply Chain knowledge
Fluency in English is a must, any additional language is a plus
Last but not least, you have the ability to work in a team, not to be disturbed by setbacks and to face the challenges of a fast-growing company in daily business hands-on
Willingness to travel, in order to meet up with the customers in person
You are ready to work in an agile start-up company that is reaching for the stars
You have a positive attitude that is contagious
The logistics industry is not an alien concept to you
