Cloud Automation Tester

We are currently looking for a Cloud Automation Tester to strenghten the Cronos Europa team.

Responsabilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source or commercial tools


• Integrate automation tests with Gitlab CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments in co-ordination with the DevSecOps team


• Test cloud-native applications across various cloud platforms such as AWS & Azure Cloud


• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of UI components with backend services


• Identify, record, and track bugs to resolution


• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved


• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.


• Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and project managers) to identify system requirements.


• Monitor debugging process results and provide feedback to development teams.


• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Technical skills:

• Proven work experience in software quality assurance with a focus on cloud environments


• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field


• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes


• Must have ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent


• Nice to have professional certifications AWS Certified solutions architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Certfied Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)


• Experience with UI testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Espresso or similar


• Experience with Postman, Jest, Pytest, Python Requests or similar


• Nice to have knowledge of OWASP Zap or similar OWASP testing tool


• Nice to have E2E testing with domain specific languages


• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing


• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure and their SDKs


• Experience with CI/CD tools like Gitlab CI/CD or Azure DevOps


• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
