🎯 The Right Fit
The Compliance Officer supports the implementation and maintenance of the company’s compliance and AML/CTF framework by assisting in the identification and monitoring of regulatory risks, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and internal policies, and contributing to compliance monitoring and reporting activities.
The role focuses on the operational execution of compliance controls, preparation of reporting, and support of regulatory, audit, and monitoring activities under the supervision of senior compliance management.
📌 Your Responsibilities:
Support the implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures relating to compliance, AML/CTF, and delegation oversight;
Assist in identifying and assessing compliance and AML/CTF risks as well as applicable regulatory requirements;
Perform ongoing monitoring of operational processes, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, circulars, and internal standards;
Execute compliance monitoring controls and contribute to the preparation of compliance monitoring reports for internal stakeholders;
Support the preparation of periodic compliance and AML/CTF reports;
Maintain compliance documentation, registers, and reporting tools;
Contribute to regulatory reporting and data collection processes;
Assist in correspondence and information requests from regulatory authorities, auditors, and other control functions;
Support the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and ad hoc reviews;
Contribute to AML training preparation and maintenance of the training register;
Monitor regulatory developments and support implementation of required changes.
📝 Your Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law or a related field; additional Compliance / AML / Risk qualifications are an advantage;
Minimum 4+ years of experience in Compliance or a related control function within the financial services sector, ideally with an investment firm, bank or asset management company;
Good knowledge of the Luxembourg and EU regulatory framework, including CSSF requirements, with solid working knowledge of the Luxembourg AML Law and applicable EU AML/CFT framework, as well as MiFID II obligations.
Experience in maintaining compliance policies, controls, monitoring activities and regulatory reporting;
Experience in managing of end-to-end KYC onboarding for clients, including complex legal structures such as trusts, foundations etc.
Hands-on experience with CDD, EDD, UBO identification, PEP screening, and ongoing due diligence
Experience with transaction monitoring — both manual review processes and automated alert-based systems
Ability to provide practical and business-oriented compliance advice to internal stakeholders and management;
Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail;
Exposure to auditors, regulators and external service providers is an asset;
Proactive, reliable and solution-oriented mindset, with high integrity and professionalism;
Fluent in English; German would be considered an advantage.
