Currently, we are seeking a talented CMDB (Configuration Management Database) Senior Architect to join a dynamic team. If you have a background as a CMDB Administrator (Unix/Windows) and the required skills to support planning, architecture, analysis, design, and implementation of CMDB features and integrations, we want to hear from you!

Overall Job Description:
The CMDB Architect will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the enterprise CMDB, focusing on BMC CMDB with relevant skills on ServiceNow CMDB. The candidate will ensure seamless interoperability and integration with ITSM (ServiceNow) and other components like DevOps tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement CMDB solutions using BMC CMDB functionality.
• Explore migration approaches to ServiceNow CMDB.
• Integrate CMDB with ServiceNow ITSM and DevOps tools.
• Manage upgrades, patches, and updates for CMDB systems.
• Address security vulnerabilities and ensure best practices.
• Ensure high availability and performance of multiple environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation (technical specifications, architectural diagrams, operational procedures).
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to CMDB, ITSM, and DevOps automation.
• Provide Level 3 support for CMDB features and configurations.
• Translate business needs into CMDB requirements and support monitoring and deployment in production environments.

Activities:

• Implement CMDB solutions and explore migration to ServiceNow CMDB.
• Manage integration and automation with ITSM and DevOps tools.
• Ensure security and performance of CMDB systems.
• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years as a senior CMDB Administrator/expert.
• Strong design and architecture experience.
• Experience with various integration methodologies and application integrations.
• Exposure to DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server) and integration using RESTful/SOAP APIs.

Professional Skills:

• Excellent hands-on implementation knowledge of BMC CMDB.
• Deep understanding of Atrium CMDB, ITSM, and ITIL v3.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, DevOps tooling (Jenkins, Ansible, Git), Linux, Windows, shell scripting (ksh, bash, PowerShell), Python, Oracle, SQL Server, and IBM WebSphere tools.
• Fluent in English and French (spoken and written), with any other European language being a plus.
• EU citizenship.
• Strong analytical, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Autonomous, energetic, adaptable, and able to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
