Financial Accountant - SPV & Fund Accounting (Associate Level)

The successful candidate will join a growing team and will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of a portfolio of Luxembourg-domiciled funds, corporate clients and special purpose vehicles (SPVs), including securitisation structures established to participate in capital market transactions.  
 
This role is ideally suited to a candidate who is keen to build strong technical foundations in fund and SPV accounting through hands-on preparation work and continuous learning.

The ​successful candidate will primarily focus on supporting the team through preparation and execution of core accounting tasks, including:

• Perform day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of corporate entities;
• Bookkeeping and preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts/ NAV Pack as required by clients;
• Assist in capital call and distribution, fee calculations and reconciliations (bank, position, portfolio).
• Preparation of annual financial statements under Lux GAAP/ IFRS;
• Support audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to queries;       
• Assist with cash management and payment preparation;   
• Preparation of VAT returns, tax filings, and regulatory reports (CSSF, BCL, ECDF);
• Liaise with clients, investment managers, external auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel and other stakeholders;
• Support the business in responding to client needs on an ongoing basis; and
• Ensure that ethical standards and human rights principles are upheld across all areas of responsibility.
